Captain (CPT) Forrest obtained his bachelor’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University. While attending EKU CPT Forrest participated in ROTC and has been serving in the National Guard for 13 years. CPT Forrest has earned the General Douglas McArthur Leadership Award in the nation’s capital building. The award recognizes officers who display commitment to Army values, technical and tactical competence, display a mature understanding of their leaders and peers, and exercise influence and leadership traits required for building cohesive teams that support the Army. CPT Forrest would like everyone to know that the American Dream is possible for everyone, no matter your background.
