Master Sergeant (MSG) Wentz started her military career in 2001 when she enlisted in the North Dakota National Guard as a Supply Specialist (92Y). MSG Wentz served on numerous deployments from 2005 to 2014. These deployments included countries such as Iraq, Kosovo, and Kuwait. In 2017 MSG Wentz reclassified to Air defense Artillery after transitioning into the Active-Duty component. From 2018 to 2023 MSG Wentz has deployed to the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Qatar and has served in positions such as a Patriot Platoon Sergeant, and a battle captain. In March of 2024 MSG Wentz joined the Wildcat Battalion as a Military Science Instructor. MSG Wentz now instructs MS 1 Cadets and enjoys hiking and traveling. MSG Wentz aspires to finish her bachelor’s degree in the future.
