Sergeant First Class Lambert was born in Georgetown, South Carolina in 1980, he entered the United States Army in May 2002. He completed Basic and Advance Initial Training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma and was awarded the Military Occupational Skill (MOS) 13 Delta Field Artillery Tactical Data System Specialist, Field Artillery (FA) Branch.

Sergeant First Class Lambert has served in the following positions and organizations: 13D48A7 Military Science instructor, University of Kentucky; 13D48A7 Chief Fire Control Sergeant, Schofield Barracks, HI; 13D10 Instructor/Writer, Fort Sill, OK; 13D30 Fire Control Sergeant, Fort Stewart, GA; 13D20 Fire Control Sergeant, Fort Stewart, GA; and 13D10 Field Artillery Tactical Data System Operator, Fort Wainwright, AK. Sergeant First Class Lambert is currently working on his Bachelor’s degree in Business management through the University of Kentucky.

His military education includes the Field Artillery Master Gunner Program, Senior Leaders Course, Cadre Training Course, Basic Instructor Training, Advanced Leader Course, Warrior Leader Course, Combat Life Savers Course, Combative Level 1 training, FMCB2 Leader Opnet Training, and Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System training.
